I discovered painting during one of the most challenging chapters of my life. What began as a quiet escape soon became something I couldn’t imagine being without.

Painting gave me a space where I could simply be. No expectations, no pressure to get things right, and no rules to follow.

​

By nature, I’m incredibly structured and organised, so the way I paint is almost the complete opposite of how I’ve approached much of my life.

​

I rarely work from photographs, preferring to let each piece develop intuitively. I use my fingers, palette knives and occasionally even a teaspoon, building layers of colour and texture until something beautiful begins to emerge.

There is something wonderful about not knowing exactly where a painting will take me.

​

My work has evolved alongside me. Each piece is an expression of freedom, resilience and the beauty I’ve discovered in embracing the unexpected.

Painting has given me so much more than a creative outlet. It has helped me find a different way of seeing the world, and I’m incredibly grateful to now share that with others.
